Policies

No Refund / Final Sale Policy

All payments, deposits, gift cards, and completed service sales are final and non-refundable.

Because permanent makeup, paramedical tattooing, and other services involve reserved appointment time, supplies, preparation, and services that cannot be returned once performed, Hexe Ink does not offer refunds.

However, I care about my clients and want you to feel comfortable bringing any concerns to me. If an issue or unexpected situation arises, please contact me directly. I will review the circumstances and make every reasonable effort to address the concern and find an appropriate solution when possible.

Depending on the situation, this may include discussing adjustments, corrections, touch-ups, rescheduling, or another reasonable resolution at my discretion.

Please understand that contacting me with a concern does not guarantee a refund. All sales remain final.

My goal will always be to communicate with you, understand the situation, and do what I reasonably can to make things right.

  • Deposits & booking: Deposit required to secure an appointment; and non-refundable; and applies to the service. In the event you reschedule a new deposit will have to be made.

  • Cancellation/rescheduling: 48-hour notice requirement, late cancellations will owe for half the service. And no shows will owe for full service.

  • No-call/no-show: Deposit forfeited and owe full amount booked for.

  • Late arrivals: For example, after 15–20 minutes your service will be canceled, deposit forfeited and owe for half the service costs.

  • Final-sale/no-refund: Read full disclosure on this page.

  • Results aren't guaranteed: Every person heals differently. Skin type, medications, lifestyle, sun exposure, aftercare, previous work, scarring, and other factors can affect retention and results.

  • Multiple sessions: Especially important for scar/stretch-mark camouflage, SMP, areola restoration, and some PMU. Clearly state that the initial price does not necessarily mean one session will achieve the final result.

  • Touch-up policy: Is 6-8 weeks are there is a fee for them. If go past the 8 weeks that is recommended if want touched up will have to pay for full service.

  • Previous PMU/tattoo work: Clients must disclose previous work before booking; you reserve the right to decline or require removal/correction first.

  • Corrections/coverups: Correction of another artist's work isn't considered a normal touch-up and has separate pricing.

  • Eligibility/contraindications: Clients must disclose relevant medications, medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy/breastfeeding status, recent procedures, etc.; you can decline or postpone a service when appropriate.

  • Medical clearance: You may require written clearance from a licensed healthcare provider when appropriate.

  • Client disclosure: You're relying on the medical/history information they provide. They need to notify you if anything changes before the appointment.

  • Pre-care compliance: Failure to follow pre-care instructions may result in postponement/cancellation and could affect results.

  • Aftercare responsibility: Client agrees to follow written aftercare; complications or poor retention related to disregarding aftercare aren't your responsibility.

  • Infection/adverse-reaction instructions: Will explain what normal healing can look like versus when they should seek medical attention.

  • Design/mapping approval: This is a BIG one. Client approves placement, shape, size, color, design, etc. before tattooing begins.

  • Color expectations: Pigments can heal differently than they initially appear and can change/fade over time.

  • Symmetry: Faces and bodies naturally aren't perfectly symmetrical, so perfect symmetry cannot be guaranteed.

  • Scar tissue disclaimer: Scar tissue is unpredictable; pigment retention and texture can vary and additional sessions may be required.

  • SMP-specific expectations: Density, fading, color changes, future hair loss, sun exposure, and maintenance sessions.

  • Areola restoration expectations: Color, symmetry, size, projection illusion, scar tissue, fading, and potential multiple sessions.

  • Photo/video consent: Separate permission for taking clinical/documentation photos from permission to use images for social media, advertising, education, or your portfolio. I'd make marketing consent optional, rather than bundling it into permission to perform the service.

  • Social-media privacy: Clients have the right to choose whether images can show identifying features.

  • Age/ID: 18+ and valid government-issued photo ID required.

  • Guest/children policy: NO children are allowed. And guest are allowed but will be asked to leave if a situation arises.

  • Right to refuse service: I may decline or stop a service for safety concerns, unrealistic expectations, abusive/inappropriate behavior, intoxication, undisclosed contraindications, or if you don't believe the requested result is appropriate.

  • Intoxication: No service if the client appears under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • Pricing: Listed prices are starting/base prices and can change depending on size, location, previous work, correction needs, complexity, number of sessions, etc.; final pricing should be agreed upon before starting.

  • Financing: Financing approval/payment arrangements don't change your cancellation, refund, or service policies, subject to the financing provider's applicable rules.

  • Gift cards/promotional credits: Gift cards and promotional credits applied to your account do not expire. However, if you cancel late or no call no show will forfeit it.

  • Referral credits: Your $20 Hexe Ink Girls Club credit/cash only applies when a client they referred let me know prior to service that they were referred to be and give the name and phone number or the person who referred to get the referral credit.

  • Chargebacks/payment disputes: Require clients to contact you first about billing/service concerns. Again, please see refund policy.

  • Personal belongings: Hexe Ink is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property.

  • Communication/follow-up: Clients should contact Hexe Ink with healing concerns and reasonable response expectations. Can do this by messaging, texting, calling, etc.
